El Dorado’s Kenedy Lilly stays hot, scores 41 points two days after school record

No basketball player in Orange County is hotter than El Dorado’s Kenedy Lilly.

The 6-foot-5, uncommitted junior scored 40 points Wednesday in a 67-55 victory against previously undefeated El Rancho at the Covina Classic.

On Monday, Lilly scored a school-record 50 points in a 65-23 victory against El Monte, shattering the school record by 12 points.

“She has not only been scoring but playing awesome defense,” El Dorado coach Sarita Stamps said Wednesday night. “She is not a one-sided player. She does a great job of passing as well.”
