Adelanto man sentenced in accidental shooting of son

VICTORVILLE — An Adelanto man who pleaded no contest to involuntary manslaughter in December for accidentally shooting and killing his 7-year-old son was in court earlier this month after being sentenced to 270 days in county jail, court records show.Julio Cervantes Sr. had a probation hearing Feb. 5, three weeks after his sentencing that included 48 months probation, according to court records.
