Learn a little more about a charity that brings a little warmth to people during difficult times.

The next  meeting of the Ebell Club of Canyon Hills is 7 p.m., Sept. 11 in the Fellowship Hall of Canyon Hills Presbyterian Church.

Irvine Co. terminates lease with ROC offices shared by some 450 small businesses in Newport Beach, Irvine

A co-working office rental company with locations in Irvine and Newport Beach had its lease terminated by the Irvine Company at three Orange County locations over failure to pay its rent.

An Aug. 28 letter from Irvine Co. to the more than 450 small companies that were clients with Real Office Centers at 23 Corporate Plaza and Gateway Plaza in Newport Beach and Palm Court near the Irvine Spectrum said ROC had voluntarily surrendered its lease, effective immediately.

“We recognize ROC’s failure to pay its rent, the surrender of the space and the termination of its lease have a significant impact on you,”
